Seoul Restaurant in Hinesville

It's a low-key, authentic and reasonably priced restaurant that will get you those good Korean flavors. The kimchi, rice, and bulgogi was so tasty.

Love the food but I always come at like 4pm and they are closed temporarily from 3-6 during the week

Such an awesome restaurant! I make a point to eat here when I’m home visiting my family. This place is a gem.

Good food, I am disappointed that they took the beef short ribs off of the menu.

I just love korean food and this place is outstanding as far as taste and price go. It might take some time for the food to be served but that's because it's being made from scratch and I'm more than willing to wait to bite into happiness.

The food is delicious and staff amazing. If you don’t order ahead of time, you might have to wait, worth it unless it’s your lunch break. Tried twice and yummy!

They weren't open on a Saturday evening at 6 pm despite the hours posted to their door.

I've eaten there many times. It's always great food and reasonably priced.

The food was alright. The menu was very underwhelming. Not a lot of options or variety. The day my wife and I decided to try Seoul Restaurant out we showed up for dinner. It opened at 1800 and not at 1730 as Google Maps stated. There were a lot of people waiting to dine in. Inside were about five tables that seat 4 guest at a time and a larger eight guest table. There is also chair-less seating that everyone seemed to avoid. LOL. The inside of the restaurant is very small. No conversation is private. It took 70 minutes from time our order was taken to get our meal. The waitress made sure we were full up on sweet tea which was a plus. The restaurant was very busy throughout the evening with a line the entire time of people waiting to sit or order. This might've been a one time occurrence but we won't chance it again. You can call in your order and save yourself some time which it's what we will do if we ever feel like Korean again.

Deliciousness! I’ve been eating through the menu and from the bulgogi, kim nap, spicy squid just quality!

Worst service ever ! They swiped my card and said their machine was not working so I paid in cash. Turns out that it charged my card twice. I went back up there since they could not refund my money over the phone and they told me that they only charged my card once and would only give me 1 refund. I showed them where they charged my card twice on my statement and the lady continued to yell at me saying that my bank made the mistake. I also showed her where my food was not cooked all the way through, beef still pink, and she refused to give me a refund for my food. She said “no one complains so you not getting a refund”. What?! If someone tells you they don’t like their food and brings it back, they should get a refund. The owner came out and continued to yell saying that people don’t complain and I wasn’t getting a refund on my card or for my food. Worst service! Place dirty! And food not cooked through!!

The food was great. The quality and the quantity was superb. I can't speak for others but I love vegetables, so I see myself going back to that restaurant.

This humble little place was full of Korean families enjoying dinner. I knew if they liked the food, it would be fantastic. And it was! So was the service and the prices. We will be back for sure...but right now I'm so full and so happy!

This place proves why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Physically, it isn't very appealing, but the food is delicious! I had the best kimchi, dumplings, and beef bulgogi here. It was so good, my picky son ate and loved it! We definitely will be going back.

No liquor license! That's a big hit, although it's mitigated by the quality of the food. Also, I don't think many customers dine in, due to the run-down, dated, sparse atmosphere

Good food if you can catch them while they are open. Today is Saturday and their posted hours are from 11am -9pm. I show up at 4 pm and it says they won’t be back until 6! How’s that? So yeah good food, long wait and gotta catch them when you can. Let’s not mention that I drove here from out of town and checked their hours to be sure.

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant even though that makes this review sound more like an exaggeration than an attempt at a fair assessment but I'll try. The most important thing is the food obviously and here they do not disappoint. The quality was top notch and one hundred percent authentic. If you are looking for a great experience with Korean food then you won't go wrong here. Pricing is fair for everything you are getting. Because on top of the quality of the food the customer service is phenomenal. They refilled side dishes, always kept our drinks topped off, and never failed to check on us. In short this restaurant is a great break from your usual haunts.

Food was good but definitely not worth the price. $32.00 for one meal and an appetizer could of gone to Longhorns for that price.

I may be little picky when it comes to Korean food because I am born and raised in South Korea. Only reason of me giving them three stars has more to do with their service than food.As far as taste goes, this restaurant is not bad (not the best either.) The restaurant also adds varieties to small town, Hinesville. However, they usually take forever to make your food. Last time I was there, it took me 45 minutes to get my food.Overall, for those who cannot cook Korean food at home and have time to sit and wait for longer than half an hour, this may be your onlyoption in Hinesville.

The meat was too sweet but that's not why I'm leaving one star. My friend noticed cockroaches in the lights, some weren't dead. The kitchen didn't look very clean either from where I could see. The unsweetened tea tasted off too, like it hasn't been changed or the pitcher hasn't been cleaned in over a week. They didn't have half the menu. Would not recommend going to this place.

Good food.. takes FORVER. So only go if you have an hour or more to wait for food. Their hours posted are not the hours they are open or closed. Not reliable with knowing when open. We usually end up going somewhere else. Bad business not being reliable or truthful with business hours.

The samgyupsal was delicious! They gave all the expected condiments and kimchi without me having to ask. They also have chair less table seating which reminds me of my mom’s house. The owner/waitress was very nice and helpful, and even helped me find the Korean skincare rep I was looking for! It’s the “hole in the wall” type of place, which we all know are the best!

Good food but way overpriced. They give you a kid's portion for like $10 or $11. It should be only $7 for the little bit of food.

Friendly staff and excellent food. This was my first time here and I was afraid I wouldn't like it, but I was pleasantly surprised. I will add this to my rotation of regular lunch spots

Its was a little cold, but the food is delicious. I ordered the spicy beef with rice and 3 dumplings. It came with 5 tasting side. I will be returning here.

Fantastic food and great service. There's authentic small tables too (like the kind you'd find in Asia) if you want that experience. Good temperature inside, not too loud. Attentive servers too.

Authentic Korean experience. Portion sizes run on the small side and more variety of the little table dishes would be nice. Considering the area, this is a great place for lunch.
